Essential Insights

The research conducted by Jürgen Becker and the trituration experiences of Michael W. Geisler open up a new perspective on homeopathy. Their focus lies on the homeopathic potentization process, through which the vital force of a remedy unfolds. Under the term C4-Homeopathy, these methods and insights are brought together. This marks a significant developmental step in homeopathy, reaching into areas of life that have so far only been touched upon at the periphery.

The experiences during potentization point to an inherent order: as the medicinal power unfolds through the stages of lactose trituration, it reveals various dimensions of life (1).
Life Dimensions
• C1: Physical, structural level
• C2: Emotional level
• C3: Intellectual, mental level
• C4: Soul or essence level of the human being
• C5: Collective or humanity level (Miasms)
• C6: The force in its own unique nature – the level of the essential underlying principle

Hahnemann envisioned trituration up to the C3 level – covering the dimensions of body, emotions, and thoughts. However, since Hahnemann’s time, the potentization process within each C-level has been divided into six phases. These phases correspond analogously to the life dimensions associated with each level. This means that the traditional trituration process up to C3 already touches on all life dimensions.
What is newly accessed through C4-Homeopathy is the direct medicinal effect on the soul (C4) and collective dimensions (C5). (2)This development opens up new therapeutic possibilities.

The C4 level, which relates to the soul and essence of the human being, is explicitly introduced into homeopathy as a result of the potentization process. C4-Homeopathy thus allows the anamnesis and treatment to include the soul themes of a person—their individual task in earthly existence—and touches upon the meaning of personal existence.
A further perspective on life forces, therapeutic potential, and miasms is offered through the C5 level in the potentization process. Here, the focus shifts to the collective existence and the human being’s destiny, expressed through a supra-individual aspect of the vital force.
It is particularly in this C5 dimension of life that collective diseases or miasms become most relevant and gain essential homeopathic significance. That means: using classical homeopathy, where remedies are triturated only up to C3, it was not yet possible to access or experience the essential content of a nosode’s medicinal power—only some of its effects on the individual’s physical, emotional, and mental life. (From the script Candida albicans)

To truly reach the C4 and C5 levels within the potentization process, a special resonance capacity is required on the part of the person performing the trituration (3). This is not automatically present in every individual. If the potentization process is successful, a remedy becomes available for treating illnesses on the soul level and within the “collective body.”
This new world of homeopathy is clearly still in its infancy. It will take many small steps to make it fruitful for therapeutic application. Overall, this marks a significant development in the evolution of homeopathic treatment approaches – an impulse that was also initiated by Jürgen Becker.

(1) This statement can be examined through a study of the trituration protocols. The question is to what extent these open up realms of the vital forces that have so far received relatively little attention. It is suggested to study the protocols focusing on the power of fungi. The protocol of Agaricus muscarius is translated into English.

(2) Based on the trituration level achieved (C4 or C5 in C4-Homeopathy), further potentization proceeds via succussion in increments of six steps to the desired final potency.
From C4, for example:
• C10 (C4 + 6 succussion steps)
• C40 (C4 + 36 steps)
• C220 (C4 + 216 steps)
• C1300 (C4 + 1296 steps)
• C7780 (C4 + 7776 steps)
The C6 level currently receives no further consideration in the actual process of remedy preparation. However, it serves to deepen our understanding of the vital force.

(3) Potentization is a life-related process. When carried out by a human being, it unfolds through human experience—thus through a process of consciousness. This appears to be an essential prerequisite for creating an effective remedy. In C4, the person triturating touches the realm of the soul; in C5, the collective dimension is accessed.
